Myopia management usually involves prescribing either spectacle, contact lenses or eye drops of specific design/dosage, which have been scientifically proven to help to slow down the progression of myopia. In some cases of persistent myopia progression, a combination of methods may be consider to better manage the conditions. Our professional practitioners will discuss the best possible options with the parent to let them understand their child conditions.
However Myopia Management is a long term process and shall not be seen as a onetime treatment condition. Our aim is to slow down the progression, at this point of time. Therefore, it require frequent follow up with our optometrists to monitor the condition to achieve the best outcome.

MYOPIA MANAGEMENT – WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL?
Myopia Management is about the health of the eyes. A child learning development depends largely on the things they see and feel. The eye is a gift and we only have a pair of it. It is so precious, and we will miss out on a lot of things in life if we cannot see well. In the past, it is considered normal for the myopic prescription to increase naturally each year.
